ELI Innovation is an R&D engineering studio specialized in assistive technology. We don’t start with a product idea – we start with a person, a situation, a constraint that existing solutions fail to address. Then we design, prototype, and test until the answer works. In the field. In real life.

Our team combines mechanical engineering, electronics, and ergonomics. We work directly with end users, caregivers, therapists, and educators – because the people who live with a challenge every day are the most precise briefing document we have.

FREELI & FREELI MAXi – A certified pediatric power wheelchair reimagined from the ground up for children aged 2 to 8. Lightweight, foldable in seconds, tool-free adjustment. Engineered so that a toddler can explore the world independently – and a parent can put it in a car trunk without a second thought. Because early mobility is not a luxury: it is a developmental window that cannot wait.

ELISpoon – A fully mechanical, self-stabilizing spoon. Two counterweights and two rotation axes keep the bowl perfectly level regardless of wrist movement. No battery, no electronics, no setup. Just precision mechanics applied to one of the most basic daily gestures: eating independently.

Adapted Games & Toys – We take existing games and toys and re-engineer their controls, mechanically or electronically, so that children with motor challenges can play on equal terms with their peers. Because play is not optional.

Workshops – We train therapists, educators, and parents to design and build their own adaptations – both electronic and mechanical. The goal: give the people closest to the need the tools to solve it themselves, without waiting for a product to exist.

Custom Engineering – When no existing solution fits, our engineering team takes the brief directly. From need assessment to working prototype, we address specific challenges that fall outside any catalogue.
